about the Montclair BID
Why have so many Manhattanites moved to Montclair? It's the city experience set in an urban-suburban setting... the variety of independently owned shops... the historic architecture... the fabulous indoor and outdoor dining.... and always available public parking!
The Montclair Center Business Improvement District, formed in 2002, oversees the care and promotion of Montclair Center by maintaining the area, branding the Center with banners, plantings and street furniture, sponsoring special events and providing a liaison to Montclair's town council for over 350 businesses in the district.
If you've never been to Montclair Center, you're in for a treat. Stroll the whole mile or head to the "center" of the Center at South Fullerton Ave. and Bloomfield Ave., the corridor to the best dining, shopping and entertainment less than 15 miles west of Manhattan. New Jersey Transit and DeCamp Bus Lines can drop you right at our doorstep.
